The Lunar Patong

Perfect hotel for a family. Location is great in the middle of everything 5min walk to the beach 10min walk to Bangla Road. Staff are amazing and helpful great room with beautiful mountain view.

The location of The Lunar is very good, very close to the Patong beach and other attractions. Supermarkets, laundry, tour operators, motorcycle rentals, restaurants and other necessities are on the same lane. Good balcony view. The mountain room view had a very beautiful view. My rooms airconditioner was very good however my friends room had an aircon issue that wasn’t solved even after inspection - so mixed review for the aircon. Room has all toiletries like shampoo, shower gel, ear buds, laundry bag, dental kit and more. Hair dryers, kettle, all available. Decent TV with world wide channels however didn’t explore smart Tv options. Nice sofa and thick curtains to black out the light. The pool is very unique to the city with a different shape. Pool towels are available. 24 hours service is a blessing can ask for water and necessities at any time of the day.

The stay and location was good. Alot of shops and Halal rest. are nearby. Staff are very kind, frindly and helpful Breakfast was basic.

LOCATION: It was central of Pa Tong and the distance to the beach was amazingly near, walkable distance. There’s two 7-11 right beside and in front of The Lunar Patong. Walkable distance to night markets like buffalo market, central market and jungceylon mall. FACILITIES: Hotel breakfast buffet was not too bad, 250 baht and it is constantly filled up by service staff. The pool along the hotel exterior is well designed and clean. Toilets outside of the hotel room (within the hotel) is great and clean too. SERVICE: The service is exceptional, very friendly and helpful. 24/7 security and felt extremely safe staying here. As it is close to the beach, they provide beach mats, slippers and blue towels provided for the pool use. We came during Songkran festival but didn’t see anyone splashing water so if you like to get splashed, either Bangkok or Pattaya is better but Phuket is good for shopping, beach vibes, eating and drinking. Much more tourists, so english is comfortable for them here. Summarised, this hotel is perfect for a getaway to the beach, feeling safe and comfortable while enjoying great Thai food and local scenery.
